Last November 18, SLRP hosted its third presbyteral ordination. The congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, one of the religious communities domiciled in the parish, held its ordination ceremony for six of its members as they professed their final vows for the priesthood.
Attended by most of its member priests in the Philippine Region, and representatives from other regions (i.e, USA and Vietnam), together with the families and friends of the new priests, the ceremony was presided by His Excellency, Bishop Antonio R. Tobias, bishop of Novaliches.
Those who professed their final vows for the priesthood included two Vietnamese, Frs. Vu Van Phu and Tran Van Ngoc and four Filipinos, Frs. Candido S. Bayron Jr., Joseph D. Muego,
Christopher C. Alburo, and Jose Patro C. Gier Jr.
After the mass, the new priests and their guests, were feted with a sumptuous feast at the adjoining Parish Formation Center.
Providing organizational, liturgical and facilities support was the parish community headed by Fr. JB Abellana, together with our Worship Ministry, headed by Ate Josie Cruz and other members of the different liturgical ministries.
