It was still dark and relatively cool when parishioners
left the comforts of the parish last May 10, 2014 to participate in SLRP’s Holy
Rosary and Community Mass set for 5:30AM at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of
Peace and Good Voyage in the hills of Antipolo City.
Upon reaching the cathedral, we prayed the rosary in one of the adjunct halls in preparation for the scheduled community
mass of SLRP at 6:00AM. This was the first time the recitation of the holy rosary was included in the pilgrimage activities. A full complement of liturgical ministers (altar
servers, lectors, MBG, lay ministers and the choir) accompanied FJB as he
celebrated mass that morning. There were also
representatives from the SSDM, Legion of Mary, Apostleship of Prayer, Knights
of Columbus and the PPC.
